Continuing Education



This schedule contains real estate classes scheduled to date at AABOR. All classes are held at 405 S. High Street unless otherwise noted.

According to the Ohio Revised Code, registrants must be in class 90% of course time in order to receive credit. All cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance in writing in order to receive a refund. Payment must accompany reservation.

Wednesday, May 7 @ 1:30-3:30 p.m. - Beginning Rapattoni, instructed by Denise Bailey or Steve Merkle.  This introductory course involves a live presentation of the Rapattoni MLS system - includes training on searching, e-mail, reports, photos, contact management and prospects.  Not a hands on course.  Cost is $16 for members and $26 for non members.  This course is approved for 2 CE credits.  Seating is limited to 10.

Wednesday, May 14 @ 9:a.m.-12:00 noon - Advanced Marketing Techniques, instructed by Joyce Willson.  Learn how to effectlively market yourself, your company and your inventory.  This course is approved for 3 CE credits.  Cost is $24 if paid by 5/7, $27 after for members.  Non members pay $36 early bird, $39 after.

Wednesday, May 21, 1-4 p.m. - Ethics: Measure of Professionalism instructed by Milan Salchak.  Course meets the state's requirement for 3 hours of Ethics CE credit.  Cost is $24 if paid by 5/14 and $27 after.  Non-members pay $36 by 5/14 and $39 after.

Wednesday, May 23 @ 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon - Personal Assistant Solution instructed by Joyce Willson.  Learn how to have a great 2008.  This course is approved for 3 CE credits.  Cost is $24 if paid by 5/16, $27 after for members.  Non members pay $36 early bird, $39 after.

Wednesday, June 18, 9-12 noon - Reverse Mortgage Basics instructed by the Fair Housing Contact Service.  Gain knowledge to explain the reverse mortgage home purchase option for clients 62 and over.  Cost is $24 if paid by 6/11 and $27 after.  Non-members pay $36 by 6/11 and $39 after.

Friday, June 20, 9-12 noon - Insuring Vacant & Rental Properties instructed by Angela Kurlich.  Learn tools to share with buyers and sellers regarding insuring rental properties and those purchased for rehabilitation.  Cost is $24 if paid by 6/13 and $27 after.  Non-members pay $36 by 6/13 and $39 after.
